MRS. SHARON WENSON
MARCH 29, 2022
Imagine walking into a cozy lit room, with loved ones all around. The soft essence of flower petals fills the air. As you walk further into the venue hall, the sweet melody of your favorite song flows through the room from a passionate violinist who catches your eye. This talented individual is none other than, Sharon Wenson.
1. Tell me about yourself/your service.
I play the violin/fiddle and sing and I have been performing for over 40 years. I can provide elegant wedding music with traditional classical songs or with today’s contemporary music. Or, I can get out the “fiddle” and provide beautiful waltz’s or upbeat songs such as “Devil Went Down To Georgia” or “Pig In A Pen” for a little fun after the wedding. I also love playing and singing gospel songs such as, “Amazing Grace” “I’ll Fly Away” “Down To The River To Pray” “How Great Thou Art” “Be Thou My Vision” and many, many more. Additionally, the violin and singing are complimented with beautiful accompaniment sound tracks. We use a top-quality sound system by BOSE that provides the perfect level of sound for intimate setting or large groups. Working with the wedding planner or family members, your songs are selected based on your desires. My desire is to provide the
wedding music that is exactly what your are looking for.
My wedding package includes :

3. How do you help couples narrow down song selections?
Usually, couples have a few songs they have in mind that we build their song selections around. It can be all classical or all contemporary or a mix of both. I send some samples via text or email so they can hear it and this helps them choose.
4. What would the typical day of look like for you from arrival to departure?
My husband, Mike, and I arrive about 1 1/2 hours before the prelude begins so we can set up and do a sound check. We talk to the wedding planner to get final details about the ceremony and where to set up and how we get our cues on when to play and stop the songs.
5. How far in advance should a couple reach out to book you for their event?
I am happy to book about 3-4 months in advance to keep everything fresh with song selections. However, I have done weddings with just a 2-week notice or up to a year out.
6. Do you have a website or social media handles that potential clients can check out?
I currently use a website called “The Bash” It has videos, songs and song list with reviews from previous clients.
